Where my heart lies

My heart lies within...
The long talks and lectures from my mother for twenty years.
The homemade dinners we have every Sunday with my Grandma.
The laughter I share everyday with my mother.
The secrets I share with my sister.
The card games we play at the kitchen table.
The hot showers after a long day.
The phone conversations.
The staying up until dawn and sleeping in until noon.
The sad times.
The happy times.
I guess I do believe that my home is where my heart is.
And I hope it never changes.

Wonderful! And I don't find it cheesy at all...I think it's great to hear about those who have happy home lives...(there seems to be so many on this site who don't have happy home lives). Thank you for this fresh and interesting insight.
