Over the horizon rises the moon
Beyond the vista lies sullen dusts
Greater dragons fight the lesser imps
Dreaming of a thousand sands march towards the North
The Depths open wide to conclude the shadowing
Foreseen by the camphor is flamed weddings
Seducing the Demon to ill-fested waters
So the demons ascend to run rampant and amok
For the Angel rises to strike down furious wrath
Sending gusts of floods to the scourge of the world
Manifested by the silhouettes, sending codes of risen mass
Congruent to the raping of audacious moonrises
Death alone rides again
The dream that introduced hope, faith, love, and desires
Metaphorisizes into a shadow of death, torment, sullen misery, and hate
Wake up, wake up
Unspoken by the dawn I rise and the dream is no more
The holy world did not signify an unholy war
Redeemed, there is no more suffering
At least in my head
Death
Author notes
This poem was written about a nightmare that was in a book that I wrote, "Breath Of The Dying". This novel is a romance-horror. I will put it on AllPoetry sometime or another.
