Author notes

This is a Lanturne...it is a type of Japanese poetry in the shape of a lantern {hence the name}. The syllables for each line are 1,2,3,4,1. Lantern poems are light & airy. The first line has one syllable (a noun), line 2 - two syllables (describing the noun or its actions), line 3 has 3 syllables (further describing the noun), line 4 has 4 syllables (further describing the noun) line 5 has 1 syllable, (another word for the noun).

    Good

All these are perfect lanturnes! Thanks for sharing. The syllable format is perfect and they all make good sense and describe the lanturne form well.
