The lamb opened the first of seven seals
one creatures said "Come" in a thunderous voice
there before me, a white horse with a rider
he had a bow and given a crown for his choice
he rode out to conquer and then rejoice
The second seal opened with a second creature
saying "Come"to a red horse with a rider atop
given power to take peace from all the earth
making men slay one another until they drop
riding off using a sword to cut down with a chop
Opening the third seal the third creature said
"Come" as a black horse stood before me.
the rider was holding scales in his hands
among the last four creatures a voice said softly
a quart of wheat for a days wages will be
Upon the fourth seal being opened I heard
"Come" and a pale horse appeared to me
Death was riding with Hades close behind
given power to kill half the earth unmercifully
by sword, plague, famine and beasts savagely
When the fifth was opened it appeared to me
the souls slain because God's words were spoken
shouting how long till you avenge our blood Lord
when told to wait longer their spirits were unbroken
told wait till your brothers are killed, was spoken
When the sixth was opened there was an earthquake
the sun turned black and the moon blood red
the stars fell to earth and the figs to the ground
the sky receded into the heavens it was said
mountains and islands removed as if dead
Every man and every slave on earth went to hide
they called to the the rocks and mountains too
to fall upon us and hide us from him on the throne
and from the wrath of the lamb, is what you must do
for the great day has come, who can stand with you
As the seventh seal was opened Heaven was silent
seven angels with trumpets before God they stand
another was given incense and stood at the altar
prayer and smoke rose from the angels hand
fire from the altar was hurled to the earth's land
