This I Know

I was sitting inside watching the rain come down, Tears from Austin is what I thought. I could feel his pain but somehow I felt tears of joy. As I was sitting inside, laying on my bed listening to the rain, I heard a tap on my window. I thought I was just my imagination but then I heard it again. I looked out and there he was standing out in the rain. I didn't need him to tell me to come down I just did. I climbed out my window, and down to the grass. He embraced me into his arms, and whispered something sweet into my ear. "Kelsey I love you." Just plain and simple, black and white. I knew he did but its the words that really hit home. As we backed off from each other I closed my eyes then opened them slowly. He bent close to me and kissed me tenderly. I never knew that something so soft could make me fall so hard.

Author notes

I am writting about a kiss that took my breath away and a soul mate type thing. It was easy to write only because this person is still dear to me and hopefully always will be.

The last sentance was the best. I love when people play with words and their opposites. This is sweet. Best of luck.
