Born again

The search,the journey,
The quest for inner peace,
The curiosity,the eagerness,
The beginning,the end,
All paths lead to the question,
Who am I?

The supreme Divine Nature,
The eternal spirit benign,
Born and mothered by her blessings,
Learnt the baby steps forward,
And other destined notions.
Smashed to smithereens,
Unraveling my own identity,
Ventured beyond the realm of reality,
With nature,I am born again.

I like the lay out of this poem it seems sound and is enticing to read. The poem is on an interesting subject that we all question our self and like how the writer begins to understand her/his self and how there for s/he is then born again. I like the simplicity of this poem paired with vivid images and metaphors. Well done this is a nice piece.

    Deep 'n' Thoughtful

I very much enjoyed this piece. You combine several concepts in this piece which I myself can relate to-- the questions of what we are, the oneness we all share with the Spirit and the universe, and the deconstruction of reality through self-discovery. Very well penned (or keyed, as it were ). Thank you for your entry, and good luck!

This was a wonderfully uplifting read first thing in the morning for me

    Smashed to smithereens

I love your use of this line and it's placement in the poem. You did a wonderful job weaving language that is common to many into something different and musical in nature. Very nice

This is very insightful and philosophical poem you’ve penned… I often wonder the meaning of life and purpose…it seems you’ve found the answer… your poem is beautifully worded… Good luck in the contest…
