Let Us Be

Be next to me always.
Be here for me to hold,
And hold me when I need you.
Let our hearts be one,
Let our heat be intense.

Be in my soul forever.
Be a part of me always
And let me be a part of you.
Let us be one together,
Let us feel each other.

I feel like my life is you.
If you were to stop breathing
I would cease breathing also.
Let us move forward like this,
For I cannot be without you.

    I enjoyed this poem and the sentiment if portrays. A gentle love poem, with simple, but effective wording.

    It must have been a very sweet orange that you squeezed the juice of this poem from, and it is obvious that the person for whom this was written, is loved very dearly.
