shall we dance?
ok then let us dance
what mood?
the Eternal Waltz
*
perhaps we could rent us a ballroom in bright Space
circled by satellites and musical stars
perhaps we could start with a light-footed Moon pace
and then do a Charleston to Venus and Mars
perhaps we could dance to sweet Love's timeless Tango
i am dressed up in satin in silk for the ball
perhaps we could follow the beat of Bolero
where movement is magic - no movement at all
róses and
róses and
róses and
roses
cándles and
cándles and
cándles and
candles
músic and
músic and
músic and
music
féélings and
féélings and
féélings and
feelings
stárlight and
stárlight and
stárlight and
starlight
óne two three
óne two three
óne two three
one two
móvement and móvement and móvement and móvement
cutting bright diamonds from black distant starlight
glide step-step glide step-step glide step-step glide-step
plucking the mother of pearl from the skylight

liked the repetition effect here - sentiments well expressed in these lines - easy to read and understand. Feel the beat and hear the music - fills the senses.

I like this piece because it has a dancelike feel to it, but some of this work to me seems a little indecisive. That's fine if you meant it to seem like that
I like the beauty of the words and the atmosphere within this poem- it reminded me of dancing in the night. Well done

Wow, VERY cool! I can imagine the music to that in my head...
perhaps we could rent us a ballroom in bright Space
circled by satelites and musical stars
perhaps we could start with a lightfooted Moon pace
and then do a charleston to Venus and Mars
LOVE these lines!! lightfooted Moon pace and charleston to Venus and Mars bring to mind suck vivid imagery in my mind. Im really lovin this song. Id love to hear it on the radio one day :-P -
Missed this one somehow along the way--
a tango I would dance to Venus and Mars,
full of mystery and desire--

Thanks, Richard - yes, the system alters my catagories
I'll rectify it ...

Such a moving and precise image Myra I could
see the dancers twirling in my mind.
I noticed above the catagory as abuse,
an error surely.

Soaring spirits can dance anywhere. Thank you for reminding me of that, a heart alight is a heart in flight.
I love the effect the style has on the words. Visual and lilting
Very nicely done
