She is feverish,
no one to cuddle her.
Her teddy bear does not respond.
Her little cousin is too small.
I come along and offer a few cuddles
cuddle
cuddle
cuddle
cuddle
virtually...
“Did you feel that?” I ask.
“Yes”. Thank you!
She feels cold,
shivering in her fever.
I give her virtual warmth
warmth
warmth
warmth
warmth
“Did you feel that?”
“Yes.”
"Thank you!"
She aches all over,
her neck, her back…
I come along with a virtual massage
massage
massage
massage
massage
"It could lead to other things!" she teases…
I say, “Turn over!"
massage!
"lol!”
"lol!"
She suggests a game of Yahoo shooting stars
over the Internet.
but our computers go haywire
downloading the crazy drivers.
Maybe another day.
There will be many more days,
and technology will advance.
Maybe that game of shooting stars will work...
"We rock!" she says!
What can I say?
Such trust is a richness
not often achieved
by mortal man,
and it's warmth
reached through a cyberworld today...

This is absolutely ADORABLE; cyberspace has a way of making unreality real, doesnt it?
