God bless all the men and women
who serve the red, white and blue
they put their lives on the line
they sacrifice for me and for you
They chose to serve their country
walking proud and standing tall
defending this great nation
so many soldiers have given all
The Air Force, the Army and Navy
and the Marines fight in this war
sacrificing for love of country
freedom is always worth fighting for
It is a lonely time in Baghdad
sounds of silence heard in the night
mortars are heard in the distance
the silence is broken as they fight
Remember our fine brave soldiers
their loved ones are so far away
remember to thank each and everyone
let us remember them as we pray
GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS
