Severed Fervor

In the darkness I wept in the shadows for you
Never to conceive a love that I wanted for us
Our souls run sullen in this time of despair
Living on and tearing away the midnights and rues
Like a jewel you were desirable and magnificent
Moonlight dawns upon us tonight within the gravesite

Whispers of your rechristened soul and burning
Wine-soaked silhouettes lay bare within the nightskies
Lust in the romance of the nocturnal rites in passing
Slitting the veins so you can see that I love you
I hold you in deep fervor eternally
Without ire, malice, wrath, or bloodlust I isolate

Vanishing into the mist of nightmares I silhouette
Bleeding upon the bruised roses of the kiss
The kiss at which I assume is a scar of holieness
Caring for the love and in lust we recreate the lifetime
Come to me as a virgin of sullen moonrise
And forever now of the severed fervor
