I kneel down
say hello
place the flowers
tears begin to flow
Every year I do this
And every year I cry
all those years together
I never thought about goodbye
But now you have gone away
and I know not what to do
So I come once a year
to say I still love you
Author notes
About a woman I loved very much. My grandmother was truly GRAND to me. I will always treasure the time we had together.

Aww..this was sweet and sentimental in its' expression. I loved it. I don't know what I would do, when that time comes. I would probably do the same. Visit her and tell her, how much I loved her. But I tell her that even now, as much as I can, while she is still around.
My "Oma" did help my mom in raising me, so I have much to thank her for.

Loved it
Explained your loss very well
the rhymes didn't pollute the poem as they shouldn't
The title fit well
I found no typos
The poem explained itself
Loved it very much
To sum it up, I loved it -
Sorry for your loss, sorry for your poem. It is sentimental, not good.

Very sweet write and I can tell you have a lot of love for your grandma... Which is refreshing. But I just didn't get wowed by the choice of words, the line limit was a bit awkward.
-

This was beautiful my friend..this is something I do as well. So heartfelt and touching especially this time of year. Bless you and good luck in the contest.
Hugs,

You never do think of goodbye, as we like to think we have all the time in the world to be with someone, but we don't. I am sure though that your Grandma would know that you would visit her and would always love her, like she would you... I know it's only a little comfort, but it's something.
-
This is quite sad, you said so much in so few words. The emotions are amazing. Congrats you have made it past the audition round

50/50 for following rules
15/25 for overall poetic ability
15/25 for Creativity in writing, pics or backgrounds added. -
great
The way that you made this poem to re-affirm your love for your grandma is probably the best part. My favorite line would have to be: I never thought about goodbye. I liked how you referred to it as goodbye and not saying goodbye.
-
Very beautifully written. Saying goodbye is something I'm not very good at and do not make a practice of it. My Mother was the world to me and I like you go to her grave just to say I love you, for I've never told her goodbye and I never will. Thanks for sharing this beautiful piece and goodluck in the contest.

It's good to know you've had someone in your life that has touched you so deeply. Not everyone is so lucky. You did a nice job on the rhyme in this poem. I also thought you were able to communicate your pain within your words, so kudos for that! Glad I got the chance to read this...
-
Now you have me crying too .Beautiful write .If you allow your self the time to tell every one at any moment how much you love them you will never feel like you have to say good bye . Lovely poem

You know my grand mother was my world when she died i didn't know what to do. My mother came and told me at school and i fell down in front of every one in tears. The emotion is this peice even made me cry. Although your better than me i can't bring my self to go to her grave.
Great write and read.
