The Burning Rose

I
The love rose burns in the blood-cold rain
As the moon shadows the world in darkness
The blood is lying in the floor, what have I done
The heart is flying in the wind, where have I gone
But the fires burst into fusion and the world is on end
Rescue the mist on the rise and damn the wicked
For the lover dies in vain
And the hater is the victor
Become the lover and save the hater and leave the world
Never return in the fog, rise like a raven in the night
I love you, although I see no future in your soul
I love you, but I can never give you everything
The love rose burns in the soul-freeze rain
As the moon unveils the world in surprise
Nothing else is going to hell at the moment
For the romance has died and we are caught in the center
I am here to save you from the lost souls
Sullen dead rise to take you away into the Depths
The graveyard is cold and is dark, love died here
As the night cloaks the world, I see you
The time for redemption is near, I can feel it
For the mausoleum is alive with hate, malice, and vengeance
The burning rose is scorned from the world

II
The burning rose, blood-cold, in the rain
One last pedal to the lamenting ground
For the Swansong of the Depths screeches
Decrying louder to the adepts of a lost diety
Nevermore shall another lover bleed so cruel
The Depths bleed a fervor too desolate, incinerate
The stranger glares at the wanderer with glee
And never too say the daze once again
Moonlight is enshadowed in the deep
Midnight grows more mire and frostier
As the soul rises from the flames,
A spirit gasps from the fog
Inspire the wretched ilk and more macabre
The darkness conceives a mausoleum into the shadow
And then recites the ceremonial rite for the burial grounds
See the face in the blood-cold mirror
And feel the spine-chill of the mist
The burning rose flares up in the fog

very beautiful writing. The details and style were exquisite. I think that your metaphor and subject are cliched though. Try to come up with more original similes. Thanks for entering.
