My Dying Romance

In the shadows I wept for you
Given into the silhouettes of desire
The romance goes forth into fervor
For the rose is blood-cold
A sullen darkness sweeps over the world
Cast me a desire of the mausoleum
And write me a swansong of the burial grounds
My romance shines within your soul

The cadaverous ways of love
Is killing me into a daze of the sullen
For I am unforgiven in your eyes
See me your sacrifice in the night
The liquors of your prism to the nocturnal
I see the truth lying within the moonlight
For the rain is wine-soaked
My romance shows within your heart

In your eyes is the romance I need
The tumors of your breath is what I desire
Sullen no more
I drive into your romantic lust and caverns
For the glaze is fire-paved
Give in to me and surrender your blood to my veins
Your body is my temple, your soul is my playground
My romance sheers within your body

The core opens to allow the burning rose
For the desire is rose-burnt
Unto me you can open your ways and be free
For my love is reserved for you
The silhouette of the night sky reveals a lover
Filthy and secret was me before you arrived to me
Dreary and bleeding was my soul before you arrived here
My romance sheers within your mind

The scars that were left behind
Were formed in cause by your wine-soaked kiss
For the mausoleum is en-darkened-void
Dark, chaos, murky, uncleaned, sullen
Bleeding the cold heat of my heart
I lay there in the wake of my glancing soul
For my death is forever-sullen
My romance Shields your eyes

Author notes

Most of my poems, such as this, were written for one woman. You can tell, because it is a dark romantic poem. Like most of mine are. Enjoy...
