Gossamer Sister

Gossamer sister,
With powder-blue eyes;
Her Lord has graced her
With love (no surprise);
A fragile heart
With paper-thin walls;
In weakness, she praises
Her All-in all.

How will the Christ
Be shown in her;
Even as life
Seems like a blur?
Faithfully waiting
On her Master;
In time of need,
Him, she is after!

And so she waits
On His revealed will;
She’s found before Him,
Being so still;
When love perfects,
I know she will laud
The Son of the Father;
God of all gods!

Until that time,
She sits at His feet;
To learn of His will,
Which is her meat;
Joy, she has found,
In Him above;
For He has graced her
With gossamer love.
