Scribbles on my Paper

Scribbles on my paper,
so delicate, so fine,
tell imaginative stories
exotic and sublime.

I see a dancing walrus
wearing tutus and a hat
jigging across a tightrope,
falls and goes ker-splat!

I see a dense primeval jungle
filled with warriors made from wood,
when out springs through the trees
is the brave and generous Robin Hood.

I see a gang of elephants
whistling at the moon,
a baby goes and stubs his toes
and screams and shouts, "Baboon!"

I see a seascape full of mermaids
singing to a cow
when an Indian trots up
and greets them saying, "How".

I see a wizards chamber
warm and full of mist,
counting all his antidotes
and writing down a list.

I see a twisted yellow mushroom
old and speckled with green,
hanging off the mouth of a cliff
living in a glorious scene.

I see a kneeling monk
praying at his bed,
mouth muttering thanks
as he graciously bows his head.

I see a bowl of petals
meticulously speckled with dew
atop an old wood table
painted white anew.

I see green faeries
floating across the ridges of our mind
only to put some sparkle in our eyes
to give them a lustrous shine.

I see a woman crying
at the headstone of her lover,
she gently lays down roses
and faithfully looks above her.

Scribbles on my paper,
so delicate, so fine,
tell imaginative stories,
exotic and sublime.

So imaginative, so exotic, so sublime. It is amusing and impressive to no end. Each topic is creative and new. The rhyming was amazing. Ker-splat, Robin Hood and baboon, how wonderful! thank you.
