Kisses from afar

   As I lay here in my bed
I see the stars shining bright
thru my window tonight

  I wonder if you too
are staring up at the sky
thinking of you and I

  I feel your presence all around
longing to feel your touch
and to tell you that I love you so very much

  I take one last look at the stars
sending you a kiss from a far
letting you know how truly magical you are

Author notes

Beautiful blonde hair cascades down her back
longing for her lover to return for her
and wrap his arms around her in sleep
promising of everlasting love so deep.
