Love

The delicate art
Of joining two souls and hearts:
Known mainly as "love."

It's something of depth,
Of tender understanding,
And the will to give.

Author notes

I don't know.

Oh yay a new poem! I have been so incredibly busy during the past few months, that it took a cancelled class to get me to log on here and as I have nothing else to do on a friday afternoon while school is still in session. But I'm glad that I could finally read something new of yours!

I noticed the haikus right off the bat, so hopefully I'm not too dusty on everything poetry-related. And the way that you described love was perfect- joining two hearts and souls... that really is what happens, but I suppose that I just haven't though of it like that specifically. Strings of haikus are always great, and I hope that you add more!

Raee!!! It's been awhile since you posted a poem...I agree with Tara that this doesn't really need a last stanza. I think you got your message across pretty well. It's deep but a meaning that everyone can understand. Nicely said chum. I like the haiku style thingy. Great job!! Well, have fun in Nh and stuff. c ya!
