Only For You

My love for you has crossed the line,
An essence in the midst of time.
My love for you is deep and true,
My heart is given only to you.

For you I ask as one true wish,
For one more time that gentle kiss.
That sweet deep kiss that fills my soul,
Forever more now you will know.

In this time you stole my heart,
Though lost I was from the start.
You gave me life and pulled me in,
Freed my soul from all its sin.

That gentle kiss that you gave me,
Has cleared my mind from misery.
My life has flashed, 'oh many times,
Before my eyes it made me blind.

You clear my thoughts and open my soul,
The key to my heart is in this bowl.
And in this bowl I pour my thoughts,
Memories of what I long forgot.

In that penseive I show you,
What all I would really do.
All these thoughts of what I'll do
Just to give my heart to you.

For few more lines I have to say,
I'll love you till my dying day.
These thoughts of you they blind my eyes.
With my heart I see the light.

One more time that gentle kiss,
It pulls me from the dark abyss.
Show that, now, my heart
Belongs to you.

    dracodelaperry, this was a very nice little poem of finding real love, aftr suffering through many heartaches. I think that was what you were trying to say? nice write Image and Visions

    this great this poem really tells haow u feel great descrption i like it very much and just good flow i like how u had use your word and alot of people can relate this to there love life i know i can relate this to my bf so great job really very well put poem

    Hi Love. This is an amazing poem, and mind you it's 6:30 a.m. and I'm still reading, and that's a good thing. Little things can catch my mind at this time in the morning. This is such a beautiful write, it just makes my heart soar, you have no idea. I agree with the other two, you can really feel your love pour out through the words. Love you, Daimen, always.

    I think you have done a great job with the emotion of love in this write. It has made me miss it so much! I think you did a great job with the rhyme I am actually suprised at how easily it flowed and didn't sound all that forced when I read it to myself. However I did spot one thing that you may want to go back and edit. "For you i ask as one true wish,"- I think the "i" would look better "I" because the lower case just seemed to grab my attention took me away from what I was reading. Other then that it was great. Welcome to allpoetry and I hope you can enjoy your stay!
