PAMELA A LAMPPA (Rhyming Acrostic)

PAMELA A LAMPPA

Pristine is this poet so fair

Adorned with words beyond compare

Melodious thoughts fill her head

Elaborate her works I have read

Loving heart so warm and tender

Adroit pen, her hand does render

Accolades she gives, one and all

Leaves a comment that does enthrall

Amazed, the reader stands to cheer

Maestro the word, she now will hear

Pam, these words I write you today

Plausive my words, hope to display

Alas, finished, what else can I say!!!

Pam, Thank you for all the praise and encouragement you give to me.

Author notes

My thoughts and feelings for a fellow poet and author that I was lucky to meet here at AP. You can read her beautiful work at allpoetry.com/ Poets/Pamela%2 0A%20Lamppa

I commented on FunkyFoal by Faithful Dreamer and applauded it as well, great poem.
I also commented on your birthday poem for OGreatBaldOne, what a wonderful birthday wish. Applauded a fine work as well.

momma, She is a maestro and she has been so good to me. I have learned new forms of poetry from her, this included and I love the acrostics after having read some of hers. Thank you again for your words , you really have me smiling after wiping away the tears from the comment on Molly. Lots of love! Joyce

I think that acrostics are hard enough without the rhyming scheme too. But your is so great like written with ease. This is such a lovely tribute.

Nice acrostic, Joyce. I'm sure Pamela A Lamppa will love it. Her acrostic palindrome to you was great too. You have a nack for writing acrostic poems, and you honor anyone you write one as tribute. Thanks for mine.

wow this is a great tribute. i only wish i was more able to leave a worthwile comment, but as i'm dead and about to go to bed i'm afraid this comment won't mean all that much to you. but i'll go ahead and say that i think that the words used here are beautiful. whoever this person is should count themselves blessed to be described by such an able mind as yours. keep writing!!!

Vickie the reasoning behind the * is I want the letter to stand out and I can't bold things as I am not a silver member.
I'm glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the comment.

grannyeri, It does take a while some times. Other times it just hits you like a ton of bricks. I love doing these and usually can think of something rather quickly but this took me a while as I wanted to show her the respect she has shown me.
I am glad you enjoyed reading it. Thank you for the comment.

It's a very nice tribute to your friend. You obviously appreciate all that she has done for you and this honors her nicely.
If you wanted a suggestion, I would think the acrostic would look better without the *before and after the first letter. Just personal tastes perference, cuz others may think it's better to keep it the way you have it.
