One Year Ago

C an you understand the
H urt we all feel,
R emembering how you made us laugh?
I nside, you must have been in so much pain
S truggling to make us understand
T he conflict of your
O uter joy and inner
P ain.
H ealing takes time, and
E ven though a year has passed, I
R ead the story again every night

K nowing what I know now
I  spent countless hours trying to understand
R emembering the smiling face
B ut these things never make sense
Y ou are happier now, I hope

Wow...this is an awesome acrostic. It flows naturally and well in spite of the somewhat limiting nature of the device...touching, too. I'm sorry for your loss >_<
