Another Sun Rising

As we lay on the streets
The rain falls to flowing
And everything is a slushing peace
A rainbow taunts the islands
Stretching above past & beside them
We are stranded on slow promises

I hear another sun rising
A hero is just behind it
I am not afraid
As he runs it's not surprising

Time is silent on the digital
We hate all the wait
But we aren't ready anyway
