It was perfect as darkness drew nigh
I was flying on a complete natural high.
The day that you and I became man and wife
Promise to hold and cherish all our life.
A few more years went down the road
And we had two children to love and hold.
We went through some pretty tough days
But in the end, we always saw the sun's rays.
You should know even after all these years
That when I cry for you it's happy tears.
That only you could ever make me feel this way
And when I join you again, I long for the day.
I remember a winter so very long ago
When the gentle wind had whispers low.
A voice that sang with melody sweet
The song in my heart was made complete.
Your memory lives forever in this heart of mine
Until we shall meet again, I'll be forever thine.
