Luna-Dancing prowlers look up in the Night,
A sigh and a whisper, a melodious cry,
Eyes sparkling like stars fallen far from the Sky;
Their world is grey; their world is the Dark,
A shimmer in black like a beacon of light-
Their eyes are glittering in the light of the Moon;
It is the Vista De Lobos, the Sight of the Wolves.
Author notes
Free verse.
Vista De Lobos is translated roughly as Sight of Wolves.

Whoa! I didn't know you wrote poetry so well. I am quite used to your excellent stories, but this... this just blew me away! Wonderful imagery, excellent structure, perfect words. You never cease to amaze me.
I have found a new favorite thing besides your stories! Your poetry is just... awesome! -
I did make a note in my author's comment when I wrote this that it was free verse. Thanks for the comment.

Excellent job here! I was almost hoping to read a poem written in Spanish, but that's okay, I still enjoyed the piece. You've coined an interesting phrase with "luna-dancing prowler". Beautiful image.
My only question is whether this would be considered free verse as it does contain rhyming; though not enough rhyming to be considered couplets. I'll have to think to see what form this might be.
Thank you for entering my contest, and good luck!
