A fun poem Sherry and a pleasant one to read...I adore teddies and feel like I could just give this one a nice big cuddle...you managed to keep the body shape perfectly...
The poem reads well befitting a teddy, in fact the first two lines give the strength, a fine beginning
nice entry, thank you..

My son is attatched to his bear named -Mike, of course after his dad. Girl I spent 38.00 for my son to have this bear. I took him to the mall where he could stuff it -so to speak- hisself, Cute, but was pricy for a little bear. Koodles To your Poem!

I love teddy bears and this is a really sweet poem
I think you misunderstood the contest though
What I meant was form poetry....As in, Sonnets, Cinquains etc...I was scared somebody will mistake it for shape poetry
Anyways. thanks for sharing!

this is a treat to read
i have a teddy bear my uncle gave me when i was just a newborn and i'm not 49. the guy is missing fuzz and eyes (the bear not the uncle) and holds a place of honor in the bedroom. when i feel really bad he's who i hold when i cry... that bear knows more secrets
thanks for entering and best of luck!
very creative shaping this poem too
