God keep a light in the window for me
make it a bright one so I can see
Lord I need it to light my way
I want to see it as I look up and pray
It will remind me you are still there
it's your love shining way down here
God keep burning that eternal flame
so I know where to shout out your name
Seeing your light helps keep me from harm
when Satan tempts me with all of his charm
If he finds me in a weak moment some day
send a bolt of lightning to chase him away
As I look up your light flickers at me
it shows me where I'll live for eternity
I wish he lived closer it looks pretty far
yes it's way out there way past the stars
Keep the lights burning shine them real bright
I don't want to get lost if I die late at night
But wait, if they're too bright how will I tell
if it's the lights in Heaven or the fires of Hell
I'll toss a coin to see which lights I see
tales the Devil's got me, heads I walk with thee
The coin goes in the air and takes a lot of spins
thank God I was saved, the Devil did not win

I really loved the way you ended it very cute. But this actually is a very strong message of faith you have written. I see a lot of different things, the part about which light it is is so true with the devil able to disguish himself to look like the light which light is it. But God gave us His word so we know which path and to see through the devils ploys. I can relate to this much. Thank you Sandy. Praise God!!! BRAVO!!! -
That really does seem to inspire hope-- i am not sure of what i believe when it comes to God- but this really made me miss what things used to be like when i had a stronger faith
