HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM (Acrostic)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM

How can I ever truly thank her

Asking myself this question time and again

Perhaps I can show her what she means to me

Pictures and words I will share with her

Yes, I think this will touch her heart

Brought me into this world and showed me love

It is with great pride that I do this

Reliving wonderful moments as I create my tribute

Taking time to fill it with everything special

Heartfelt to thank her for all she has done

Delivering my message not only for today

A memory that will last forever and a day

You deserve this and so much more

Mom you're the best, I want you to know

Ornate the design, it's all my own

My birthday wish for you, on this your day

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM WITH ALL MY LOVE

This contest was to write a birthday wish for the holder's mom as she is creating a special memories book for her. I do feel the same way about my own mom without a doubt.

MlilAngel, Thank you for the applauses and such lovely words of praise. Although this was done for a contest the words flowed freely as I thought of my mom while writing. I also gave a copy to my mom for her. I'm very happy that you enjoyed these wishes. This was one of my first writes. I was surprised to see someone had commented on this now. Love and God bless, Joyce

Linda, Thank you very much sis, both for the applause and the wonderful comment. When I saw the contest it seemed perfect.
If JesSiCa RabBiT thinks it is good enough to put in her memories book she is creating, I will be honored to let her use it.
    Love ya sis, Joyce

Awwww I'm sure your Mom loves this piece. You're still her baby no matter how old you get. I know my son is still my baby and he's 24 going on 90!
    Nice write.

I better put in my author's comments that this contest is for the holder's mom. I do feel the same way about my mom though.

This piece touched me...My mother was a single mother who sacrificed all that she had so that myself and my 3 rbothers could have a normal life...many of my works are in direct tribute to her, so when I read something like this, I am touched..very much so..i can relate to it...You did a very good job...it is simple, casual, but very deep ajnd heartfelt...thanks for letting em read this...

I agree, it is truly great poem, one that shows how much she means to you. I think any mother would be more than honored to receive a poem like this. Excellent job.

This is so sweet and beautiful! It is so wonderful that you feel so grateful to have your mother there for you. I love my mother, yet I know a lot of people that have abandoned their parents....felt like they were just an obstacle in their lives! I wish you and your mom the best!

    Great

Ahh, the female matrimonial person in ones family. Used in many degrading jokes, but is also very important when a child grows up. You give your thanks to your mother in a very good poem, the acrostic part of it makes it even better, because the beginning letters can be a slight problem. For instance, you are luck that 'happy birthday mom' doesn't have any Qs Zs or Xs. Great poem

Jim, I did this for the contest. However I feel the same way about my mom so it really helped when I was thinking what to say for each of the letters. Thank you so much for the wonderful comment. Joyce

This was a very pretty birthday poem, and I think your mother will really appreciate it. It shows you think very highly of her, and what she means to you. Truely a great piece of work!
