Just Another Day

Another rainy day
bringing forth the depression deep within
Just another day
shouting out at the world in horror
One more day of unhappiness
living silently in a world filled with chaos
Every minute of everyday
dragging onward more slowly than the minute before


A day seeming to be never ending....
yet it just another day.......
just another 24 hours.........
just another 1440 minutes in my life

Constantly forging on
clawing to keep my head above water
To hold myself from sinking
into the depths of despair
A single candle burns in my window
keeping the darkness of chaos from engulfing my being

Burning strong.....
the flame flickers as a cool draft blows through
Burning bright .........
lighting my way back from a self hell

Watching the clock tick away.....
Second by second,
minute by minute
It's just another day......
Just another 24 hours......
Just another 1440 minutes.....
