You offered the moon

You offered me the moon
You offered me the stars in the sky
I refused them both
That’s not what I want, my love
And it’s not what I need

I want to FLY!
On the wings of an Angel
Giggling madly
Wrapping my arms
Around Her neck…
As if She’d let me fall

I want a never-ending page
And a forever-full bottle of ink
I’d write forever
And become famous
You can be famous with me…
If you want…

I want to fight
For my rights,
For my country,
For my family
I would Die for all of these

I want…
You to stand beside me
In front of the altar
Where all of my dreams will take flight
