Man at the Park

a sitting, smiling cherry man
with string and stick limbs, tied
glowing into nut-brown bows
with a heart sized like a sunset
dipped into clean linen. he carries
pearls between his lips,
and blossoms!
they bloom in his head.
soul-smiles, windy green
weathered temple body
sits solemn still.
his eyes praise your eyes
his hands warm your cheeks
small suns.
grow the body and soul
in his footsteps. fly!
small brown birds will carry you.
