The Raven's Lady

Through time and distance
Love blooms when hearts entwine
Her voice he hears deep in his soul,
His response to her call,
She awaits...
Across oceans and miles of separation
He travels to her side
Upon the cool night breeze,
The Raven takes to flight
Moonlight tracing his blue black feathers
And in his tight grasp,
A golden chain twinkles brightly
A loving gift from him to her
A simple locket,
Which his heart is sealed within
To place in his maiden's loving hands
And wear close to her heart
Binding them as one
Him with her
Her with him
As time is now
Together they cannot be
Though one day
They shall be
For they are now bound
For eternity
