Mending Faith

Cowering in the shadows
Lies the child within
Buried in the soul
Holding ones deepest fears
Walking in limbo alone
Blinded by the sun's rays
A never ending journey
So many paths
Too many to choose from
Right or wrong
No one knows
A mere leap of faith
But how can one take such a leap
When the heart bares no faith to grasp
Left alone to search
Reaching down in the bowels
Desperately and frantically
Clawing at something that doesn't exist
Too many trials
Not enough happiness
Has wasted away
The heart and soul's last ounce of faith
Seemingly frayed beyond mending
Til a tailor comes along
Repairs what was lost
With a loving touch
All  darkness and despair are washed away
Through angels of GOD
Is faith restored
