I think about you to myself,
"Ungracious selfish ways."
Placing my rage upon a shelf,
but this bitter phase remains.
I bite my tongue to keep it clean,
to take it like a man.
To speak my mind becomes obscene,
Here's how it all began...
"The agreement" was for us to share,
and get out on our own.
In retrospect, without a care,
our pledge was overthrown.
You gave your word, for what it's worth...
I also gave you mine.
Now you eat your words of dearth,
this commitment I resign.
Liable for all I said,
I've never strayed my tongue.
Cramming bullshit in my head,
upon your line I'm strung.
In due time I clearly see
your days of sloth are through.
Enjoy it now, remain carefree,
your life will soon subdue.
Returning you to the life you left,
in the arms of those who care.
Wedge yourself between the cleft,
but know they won't always be there.
So go ahead, be my guest!
Become a child again.
But best believe I'll never rest,
my goals I will attain.
Betray me once and shame on you,
acknowledge what you've done.
Betray me twice, it's now taboo,
I hope you had your fun.
Very soon you'll be alone with no one by your side.
That piece of shit you call your friend,
has made our worlds collide.
It's funny how it overlaps,
you two are just the same.
She depends on you, you depend on me,
but to you it's all a game.
So like I said, enjoy it now,
indulge it while you can.
It won't be long till I show you how
you're a child, you're not a man.
Will you ever understand?

Heya ^_^
Good work on this poem. You have a real talent with words, this was very powerful and meaningful. And I'm sorry about the friendship. Sometimes it's better to stay away from a person to be friends with them, if that makes any sense. Too much of something good can really mess things up.
Anyway. Nice work on this. Keep penning!
Blessed Be.
