And God said, “Let us make man in our image.”
Male and female he made them,
For it was not good for man to be alone.
He blessed the couple and made them his own.
Standing before the great I AM,
He united them with his love.
Where two people once stood apart
Are now one joined together at the heart.
What has been coupled from above
Let no mortal separate and divide.
Love has bond them together
Today, tomorrow, forever.
