Waiting for a sign,
wanting to know the truth,
wanting to believe in you.

Waiting for your face,
to appear in the dark,
because that's what I asked.
That's what I need to see,
to make me believe.

God, are you really there,
watching me,
loving me,
helping me through life?

I hope you are,
and I hope you show yourself to me,
because I want to believe.

Show me........

Show me that you're real....

Please.....

    Wonderful!!!!

    Wow! This piece speaks so loudly to me!!! How I have been here begging for the very same! And you know, personally, I found him in the everyday things, look for him there, I do promise though, one way or another he will. And once you see him, there is no more doubting.

    An excellent piece... very well written and fabulous expression...

    I really enjoyed reading this. Most people have many doubts in religion and spirtuality because it is not something we can see. Although some say they've seen signs. I love this. It's like a cry for help. In a final desperation to find some one to help. When the only thing left is God we find our selves asking questions. Very well done

    well i like the poem it is cute but i really dont have a religion not the best follower but it was nice ryming and good wording hope to ssee more of your stuff.

    I sure hope you find God, keep searching and you will find Him. I am a Christian and if you have any questions about God, I don't mind helping you in any way I can. Good poem too...really expressed how you feel! And believe me, God is there, He is real!!
