Life

Life is a Road,
    Often Rocky,
                Twisting and Turning,
Climbing and
           Falling,
With its Detours,
            Freeways,
                And Crossroads
                              Of Decision.

Author notes

Just peeked into that scary place I call my head and this is what I saw.

It's so short and sweet. I like the layout of it, it's not straight, which is right because your poem talks about the twisting road and turning road e.t.c. It's simple, it hasn't got any very complicated or long words, they would be out of place here.

This is a great metaphorical poem. It sums up all one can say about life's times in one short poem.
