How do you know?

How do you know
That mistrust
Has gone too far
When you have a reason
To mistrust?

How do you know
When he says
"I love you, Hun"
That he really, truly
does love you?

How do you know
Life is fine
After you die
When you don't want to live
Even Yet.

How do you know
You are ready
To live life again
After the painful death
Of your heart?

How do you know?

Always be truthful with yourself, listen to the "little voices", but only the ones that come without thought Trust your instincts. A broken heart can usually be mended, or at least super-glued real good it just takes time and patience. This is a deep write, thanks for sharing. La x

Hiding things one from the other may create unnecessary suspicion and mistrust between lovers, and the situation may go beyond repairs one day. Therefore it is in the best interest of both to share what ever they have so that it strengthens the mutual-bond and love...
Oh I can so relate to this. But sometimes it is so hard,
especially when you have had your heart broken a dozen times.
Very nice writing. And, you never know...
    blessings, always ~ crisstiena
