Time isn’t measured in autumn or spring,
It isn’t lies or heartbreaks or death,
Time is seconds in an hourglass;
Moons and suns and planets working magic.
It will never end or break or stutter-
It is the tide that pulls us by our collars
Throwing us onto the pavement
Casting away reason.
It is neither fast nor slow,
Or anything but what is
Infinity, sharing a piece with us.

Awww this was so beautiful! I loved your diction here too! "Infinity, sharing a piece with us" and you're so right! how can we really claim to "keep time" lol! It's so outrageous! We're trying to measure the unmeasurable in minutes, seconds and hours...etc! We should be out living it!
You really captured for me the amazing and unmeasurable intesity that time truly is.
Good write!

hmm, sort of lacks punctuation but is otherwise quite good. I randomly stop coming on AP as well, feels odd to return.

hey save, this kinda reminds me of the song from rent, seasons of love... except i guess it's sort of the opposite meaning. it's true, we act as though time is so unimportant, and measure it only according to our own lives, when really it has nothing to do with us, and is so much bigger and more solid. good piece.
