We had to put Smokey to sleep on May 31, 2005...This isn't that great but I don't care. I miss her!

I didn't know Smokey died! I'm so sorry! She looked so cute whenever we came to pick you up on Sundays when she was lieing down happily on your porch step. I'm sorry, courtney. I love you and Smokey did too. my condolences go out to you.

The love of a cat holds no boundries. When the grief is near I find my poetry is just full of emotion and I don't focus on style or whathave you; later (sometimes years) I can go back to write a more artistic piece about the pain.

So at the end of the day I love the emotion you have potrayed (I have a cat too and I would be devasted if she died [I've naively decided she is immortal]).
