great piece. Another one of the lucky poets to have a poem written for them. I think it is the highest praise on poet can give another.

spirit, I just went and edited to left align this as well. I was just starting and not accustomed to everything yet. I should probably go back and look at a lot of my older writes also. It is the highest form of praise in my eyes to give another poet and Nav did enjoy this one. I haven't talked to her for some time now since she went off to France for college. I had hoped she would get to come over here and attend Yale. She scored very high on the SAT's and had a 4.0 GPA and still they did not accept her here. 98% of foreigners were rejected and the 2% that weren't were all Canadians. It would have been wonderful to get to meet her after chatting with her half way around the world. She is a brilliant young lady and I expect greatness from her. Love and God bless, Joyce

Kitti, Thank you so much for the lovely comment. I just recently started writing and never even knew about them. The first ones I saw were done by e e hal on here and she inspired my first one. I haven't started rhyming them yet but that will come with practice. I do like to have the meaning in them so that they make sense. They are very fun to me and I think it is a style I will enjoy very much. I will definitely be reading your works to get some more thoughts and return the praise that helps us to grow with our work. P, she has been very kind to my works and I do like hers as well. It was something I chose to do when she said how much she liked them but didn't find easy to do. They are hard and I know I haven't started making them rhyme yet, being it was only my third. They do however convey a feeling and bring meaning with them. As I grow with my poetry they will also because they seem to be a form that I really like. Thanks for the lovely comment. Joyce (sunny day)

What a great acrostic. I was never a big fan of them until I came to this site. I've found meaningful ones like yours and rhyming ones like mine...and they've just become fun. I really like this one though, it flowed perfectly!
