The way he makes my loved-up heart,
skip a beat, or even three.
I love the way he says my name,
he treats it with such care.
I love it when he softly whispers,
his sweet words into my ear.
I love the butterflies he creates,
fluttering delicately.
I love the essence he brings to me,
it reminds me of pure heaven.
I love the way his fingers,
perfectly entwine with mine.
I love the way we tend to be,
together, even when apart.
And the way he makes me smile,
and when i can hear his heart.
I love it when he strokes my hair,
and we dream of the same things.
I love the words he speaks, the songs he plays,
and how our love controls me.
I love the way he knows what i like, and how,
his eyes are so deep, so beautiful, unique.
I love it when he looks into mine, and tells me with all his heart,
the three simple words on which so much depends,
i love you baby, i love you true,
forever and always...for me and for you

I love the way we tend to be,

- now that is an amazing line, i love reading stuff like that. i like this piece and think that many people can relate to it, which is great. some of the rhyme is forced the i think the beauty and emotion of the poem might overrule that. i admire your ability to write a joyfull poem about being in love that doesnt sound fake and cleched, happy feeling are the ones we crave but also the ones we take for granted i like the way that your poem is thankful for them. i wish you and lloyd the best of luck for the future, great write, well done -x-x-x- -
