Memorial For Mother

Don’t cry for me my children
For it’s time for me to leave
I can hear the Lord calling
Through the whispers of the trees

My heart has grown so tired
It’s time for me to rest
I've been with you for a long time
And my life was truly blessed

I love you all my children
You are all dear to my heart
I know that you are saddened
Because now we have to part

But rest assure my children
That I’ll be very near
For I’ll be watching over you
Throughout the coming years

Someday we’ll be together
Upon the Heaven’s shore
Once more we’ll be together
Just like we were before

I love you all my children
So please dry your tears
For I am up in Heaven
So you need not have to fear

I am no longer suffering
My heart is young again
So be happy for me my children
That my pain has come to an end

Very touching Bertie! I never really knew my mother as she had breast cancer while carrying me. She passed when I was 14 months. I feel her presence often.

This made me think of my mama...I don't know what I'd do. She is 73, and thank God I was able to go visit her last week. None of us are promised tomorrow...I just don't know what I'd do.
    Beautiful Bertie!!!
