Behind Locked Doors

Internally battling for the truth
Choatic mind caught in turmoile
A child's heart smothered with fear
A woman's soul lost to a torturous time
Growing older but never  growing up
To frightened to move pass the darkness
Frozen in time within the eyes of a child
Sights of unspeakable acts break through
Shattering images of loved ones
Drowning the soul in pain
Desperate for salvation
Horrific memories
Locked away in the darkness
Hidden deep in the shadows
Heavily guarded
Never to be known
Never to be seen
Buried so far down
Made completely unreachable
Slowly drawing them back
Releasing the monster from within
Reliving a child's nightmare
No longer wanting to be haunted
Needing to know the truth
Facing the past
Staring down the demons
Never again to be consumed
By taunting memories
Behind locked doors

    This seems passionate, painting a lot of mental pictures, but I am not quite certain what the story is. I like the vocabulary and the phrasing. I don't really think I know quite what you are thinking here.
