fairy tale

Unicorns pranced across the lawn
and mermaids laid upon the shore.

Fireflies danced on the wind before dawn.
all of this in her world of lore.

but then the reality sets in
and it's back to her real life.

Everything she does seems to be sin
and none of it is worth the strife.

But as long as she dreams,
she can get by.

Seeing the beauty, it still seems
That all will be well in her minds eye.

    This is really nice. There is some nice imagery within it. Dreams are a wonderful escape and I think they are good to have. They help us to keep our santity.
