Cat

Once before I was a cat.
I lived alone, down the streets.

I felt good.
I was free.
Now, I am broken.

I am blinded.
I am deaf.

My 7 lives are running out.
And I am getting stout.

Long ago I was a cat.
Long ago I struggled alone,
Against a a world,
That wasn't my own.

Once upon a time,
I lived a lie.
Straight upon a very thin line.
Now, I feel like a lime,
Rolling down 'till I eat a mine.
I lived in a world that wasn't mine.

Once I was a cat.
Now I am nothing.
