to stand on the edge
of the beyond
would we honestly
consider routine
to be a favorable substitute
to the untouched?
vigorous sin –
the favorite past-time
in the wild
is what we
have left
to keep us reasonably sane
if I were
to walk along
the edge
would we
search for the subtle vices
unknown to man
to keep up
the appearance
of satisfaction?
fog –
the undeniable evidence
of change
and time passing by
isolates and heals
if we were to
race each other
to the bottom
of the beyond
would we come
back?
