The wind moves wildly
Caressing flowers
Caressing bamboo
It has no direction or so it would seem
Flying higher than you can imagine
Caressing grass
Caressing trees
Maybe there is direction
Wind can never only kiss one
Caressing You
Caressing me
The wind cares for all things
There is nothing the wind has not caressed
Not just this
Not just that
Everything loves the wind
The wind loves everything
Not just me
Not just you
The wind is free to choose
It likes me now, maybe you later
Not just one
Not just two
Know this though,
Even if you hurt the wind
The wind will love you
The wind will love me
This is something that will never change

Wow. This poem blows me away. It's so deep! I read the little excerpt and that just pulled me in, and I read the poem, and it has to be one of my favorites. As stated in above comments, it does seem your talking about something more than just the wind. Great job.

I'm not one for nature poems but this is really good. When I saw the title I wasn't sure if I would like it but I do. Don't we all wish the people we love could be like the wind. Loving us no matter what. The wind is such a wonderful thing. It has the miraculous power to choose who it loves. A lot of people wish that they didn't love the people they loved. I also really like the way you arranged the words in the poem. It flows so freely; just like the wind. Great poem. I really liked it! Thanks for entering. Good luck. Peace.

I love analyzing poems so I will give you a little of my perspective on the meaning of this peice... First it seems like you are just talking about wind. DUH! But then I get the soft impression that you are talking about something deeper.. I think personally that this poem is about something bigger then the wind but much like it. You see the wind is everywhere... all around the world, and so therefore you are talking about a love that can be found all around the world.By the way you talk of the "winds" love you describe it as compassionate and forgiving.. Because you say that even if we hurt the wind it will still love us. So I believe this is about one of two things. I think that this poem is either about true love.. like you see in books and movies. Because true love never fades away no matter what and it can be found all around the world because it is said to be the greatest love of all... OR, the other option which I am leaning toward.. Is that this is about the love of God. Now because I don't know whether you are a religious person or not this may as well be a stab in the dark. But the way you describe the love... How the wind caresses everything in its love is like the way God bathed the world in the blood of his son to save us.. and that the wind can not only touch one of us but all.. Because God does not focus his love on one person but all of humanity. Then it talks of the undying love and forgiveness of the wind.. because even if you hurt the wind it will still love you. AND God will forgive us for our sins even if we hurt God he stills loves us... Do you get how I got this... If not heres some more.. The way you have the words blowing across the page could not only be meant to symbolize the breeze or movement of the wind but used to embellish the fact that God is everywhere at once.. as the words of this poem are... Either way even if I am totally wrong.. This is what I believe.... You did a great job and I would love to know whether I stabbed the pillow to death or if I hit the nail right on the head... you know? Well I wish you luck...
