Rebirth

               Rebirth

Oh, angel of Love's Pure Touch!
You come to me on wistful wings
  Silent, but ever strong...
  Stronger than suspicions learned
  From bitter youthful years.

  Your serene eyes enchant me
  Like sunset's glowing promise
Of nights warmed by sweet caress...
Warmer than the stone cold heart
That built dark walls around me.

Oh, seraph of Love's Pure Touch!
  Like a pristine woodland brook
You wash away my angry tears...
  Memories of a stolen childhood
  Cleansed forever from my mind.

  Your soft voice comforts me
  Like a zephyr whispering lullabies
  Through fragrant evening fields...
And in your soothing touch I find
The joyous blush of endless spring!

    exceptional

This is a beautiful poem. The form is easy to follow and it flows so well I had to read it twice to be technical about it. Your images were strong and mystical, but most importantly heartfelt. You have a gift that most poets on this site don't.

    " Silent, but ever strong...
    Stronger than suspicions learned
    From bitter youthful years."
    ^wow, I love that part.

There's a whole feeling built around this poem; perhaps unique to it that the reader undeniably gets. A kind of youthful abandon with all of love's emotion and letdown, along with a sort of emerging sun from the horizon, as you put.

The whole last stanza was genius and it finished the poem in good form. I hope you don't mind if I give this one a print and my last applause for the day; well deserved!

Never do I fail to feel your words rush over me, and swepp me away! It is the passion! That inner surge which is driven ever so majestically from inside and onto your grand little parchment, by means of a radiating quill, dear Silentium! YOur lines and phrases, images and meaning, are ever beautiful!

Inspired by great love and peace, you create a flowering of beauty for us to share. Thank you Love Tara
