Regret

Silver Tears
Blissful Pain
Death Falls
Like A Blazing Rain

The Devil’s Prayer
Killing Me Softly
Exhaling My Life
Breathing Hardly

Tormented heart
Broken Apart
No Tomorrow
Absolute Sorrow

Ultimate Suicide
Concludes.
As Eyes Fears
It’s Burning Tears.

- Vichitra Joshi (J.VIC)

Author notes

From a point of view of a person, who repents on his decision to commint suicide.. but now its too late to do anything.

Well.. i dont really know about everyone else.. but my life has been quite smooth till now, so i personally think that suicide is an avoidable issue from the society.

Few suicidal cases i have always respected are the one by Hitler ... and Chandra Shekhar Azaad (Indian Freedom Fighter)

you all must be knowing hitler.. lemme tell you something about Chandra Shekhar Azaad

He had vowed that he would never get into the hands of britishers ( never get cought), but once he got surrounded by britishers all around him, he had one last bullet so he killed himself and kept his words (promise) .... and no its not a typical indian mythical story.. its a fact

sorry.. it wasnt connected with the poem.. but hope you read it

take cares

miss me

Yes...Yes...this was very emotional. Thank you for not giving me a rose background, and something that I had to delete. And thank you for not writing me a story...I'm so sick of deleting those...and thank you for giving me EMOTION. I'm so sick of people writing about roses...

THIS IS UNIQUE AND WONDERFUL IN YOUR CREATIVE EXPOSURE OF SUICIDE.
Flow is well done in the verses and expressed emotions the ending was perfect for this poem I enjoyed reading your work.

It is quite dark, and its haunting. For someone be on the edge, to comtemplate such a decision to take one's own life, and to follow that through. It just makes me shiver. I can't imagine the dark thoughts or depth of pain that takes someone there. You've shown some of the kind of despair that must be felt, well done. Its painful to think of others in this kind of torment. You show an image most can't attempt to understand.

    Excellent work!!!

A look at suicide from someone else's perspective. I really like this piece Vic. You penned it brilliantly and the flow was excellent. The rhyming was great and you show that you have a lot of talent in that pen of yours. Keep up the wonderful work my young friend. I had a couple of friends who commited suicide when I was younger, you don't really get over it. I still say what a waste. They really had so much to live for but their doubt and self pity sent them down a dark road from which they never returned. Excellent work and thank you for sharing with us. Joyce

I think the fact that you don't have a direct point of contact to the poem makes it an even more exceptional write, very insightful and is a beautifully structuered and worded piece!
Great subtle imagery, really enjoyed this poem!

an uber amazing poem, vic n it's soooooooooooooo much connected to my mood right now......yeah,i was feelin REAL low.....have felt it zillions of times before too but i loooooooooove my friends who've helped me out
i liked the simplicity of this poem and the stark, straightforward style in which it's written....and as for your author's notes,i feel bad about hitler's suicide cuz it'd have been better had he been caught by the allies...he deserved real torture here on earth too for his crimes...(any pro-nazis here,if you're offended,i don't care.....get lost! )
chandra shekhar azad's suicide was indeed great and he was a true patriot,no doubt
    well done,vic....keep writing

Considering I haven't a clue as to who you are refering I can't say yeah or nay. I'm not keen on martyrdom (too many people now a days are thinking they're martyrs for some misguided cause) either which is what sounds like he did.
    This is an interesting read.

actually... i love his suicide.. cos i love him .. lol.. i am not able to accept he was a coward... thats bad... (may be) ... but .... nothing .. thanks (i got no points to say why i respect his suicide .. by the way.. who knows if he too must have vowed not to get captured and die.. or such thing.. .. doesnt matter.. .. what matters is the first two lines in the author's comment

    thank you

Vic, your poem is terrific, every word is perfectly placed my friend. So many times I have been to the very edge of hope and teetered on the edge... but I take pride in that I have not fallen to complete despair and need not regret either the scars (both mental and physical) of wanting to die or forfeiting the joys of life by causing my own death. My motto is that there is always hope if you look close enough.

As for your author notes, there are instances when pride becomes more valuable than life. Some retain their integrity and some have simply done the deeds of a coward and escape humiliation the same way, by cowardice (that is my opinion on Adolf Hitler).

Anyway, a great write my friend, I do not think any could have penned this better.

    s and best wishes...

    ~genie~
