gifted knight
in a periless fight
to save
the young maiden
within her walls
she cries as she falls
for the life
that inside her is dying
her evil captor
swears undying love to her
will kill her
if anyone comes
but the knight
continues the fight
to save
the love of his life

Well if that aint the f'ing truth my sweet twin. Maybe we could save each other ey?

Excellent as always! If only life could be so simple. Beautiful write. I'm still waiting to be saved myself, but looks like I'm on my own.

Thats a very good poem. It really seems like something youd read from Shakespeare or someone of that era or even in one of his stories. Great write!

Very good :)
At first the choppiness of teh rhyme scheme was a turn off, but once the poem ended, I realized that it was really effective! I mean, a Knight's fight to save the love of his life is never smooth and easy, so why should the poem explaining it be?
It was very well written, and very much enjoyed.
Thank you for sharing!
